The reasons I'm conflicted

The hosts. Breakfast was genuinely nice, showcasing good homemade dishes from the talented chef.

While the location is serene, I did encounter issues with the hot tub being out of service , disappointing as I had hoped to unwind there after a day of exploring.

Great beds in our standard king room. Facilities - central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a sitting area;))

really enjoyed my absolutely amazing stay for different activities. the location was great, just a short walk away from piazza del duomo. this hotel was in a very relaxing area short walk to the mountain and local theater. the staff and the owner were all excellent and amicable. the breakfast was delicious and savoury and with fresh local ingredients.

Every morning started with a homemade breakfast that was out of this world! The avocado toast with a perfect dropped egg had my taste buds dancing. The cozy atmosphere of the inn, with the owners, Donna and Doug.

Everything was perfect except for the fact that we had to leave! It's a shame because we could've stayed forever soaking up the cozy vibes.

The room is neat with lovely views of the mountains. The staff is thoughtful as well as hotel's host.

Comfortable venue, with nice pool and excellent location in the garden area. Delicious breakfast with fresh local ingredients and sweet potato, for instance, excellent staff. Good customer service provided. Everything very good. Location right by all area attractions, the valley, and the mountain, Mount Surprise: )

Don't miss the afternoon cookies and hot beverages. They add a cozy touch after a day of exploring nearby hiking trails.

The charming ambiance of Buttonwood Inn made for a good retreat, with complimentary water in the room and warm cookies upon arrival. The peaceful surroundings were complemented by excellent hiking nearby, though some minor noise from other guests was noticeable at times.

The inn offers great tranquility and coziness.

Unfortunately, the cleaniness was less than expected. There was some hair on the bathroom floor and the sheets reminded me of they hadn't been changed. We also encountered noise from the hallways that disrupted our sleep. The atmosphere was not as quiet as anticipated.

Great service by the hosts and delicious breakfast. Needed more parking options.

The breakfasts were very nice, filled with fresh local ingredients, and the outdoor hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of outdoor adventures. The inn is nestled in a serene, wooded area with easy access to numerous hiking trails.

WiFi could be spotty at times.

Each morning brought a different good breakfast, from fresh fruit to blueberry pancakes with homemade syrup, showcasing Paula's great cooking skills. We also appreciated the peaceful location, with easy access to nearby hiking trails and the tranquility of the surrounding woods. One aspect to note is that the bathroom was located outside of our room, which could be a consideration for some travelers.

Breakfasts featured homemade delights, including savory turkey hash and melt-in-your-mouth scones, showcasing the owners' culinary skills. The available afternoon cookies and 24/7 access to hot beverages greatly enhanced the stay. Occasional noise from other guests could disrupt the tranquility, and there were minor cleanliness concerns upon arrival, such as sheets and bathroom tidiness not meeting expectations.
